The UK economy grew by 0.6 per cent in the fourth quarter, revised up from a previous estimate of 0.5 per cent, official figures showed today.

Si llega a suscribirse, los acuerdos y sus especificaciones serían una referencia para el resto de la comunidad económica internacional, porque estaríamos ante el pacto comercial más ambicioso jamás firmado. When the euro/sterling rate was 85p, I purchased shares in sterling. Now the rate is 73p. If I sell now and invest further in sterling without realising cash and perhaps spending it, do I have to take account of the exchange rates for purpose of CGT?

The amount in sterling remains the same but would be showing profit in euro.

La soja crece robusta en los campos alrededor de Lima, un pueblo de 10.000 habitantes al norte de Buenos Aires. Las lluvias del verano austral hacen prever una cosecha histórica del oro verde, la oleaginosa que gracias al uso de semillas transgénicas ha revolucionado la agricultura del sur de Latinoamérica en las últimas dos décadas. Allí, Esteban Barbi, uno de los dueños de la empresa agrícola Barbi Hermanos, y su ingeniero agrónomo, Jaime Mestre, cuentan los días que faltan para la cosecha de abril. Pero están preocupados, este año perderán el 5% del capital invertido en la cosecha de 4.000 hectáreas de soja.
